Ruby Purple ® is a mixed media abstract artist, wearable art creator, coach and author based in Queensland. Her work reflects connections to journeys through layering handmade—papers, fabric, natural fibres, and recycled and discarded—materials which give a more sustainable approach, support her concern for the natural world, and her interest in how we connect with our immediate landscapes through mixed media and eco-fashion. Her work responds to a narrative of the challenges that underpin the essence of our Australian landscape.
She extends her creativity by offering wearable art, where she designs bespoke pieces, earrings and paper products. Her creations are held in private collections Locally, Nationally and Internationally.
